This vase was turned from a piece of white oak purchased from a mill in Missouri. It is coated with a tung oil finish but cannot be exposed to prolonged exposure to water. It was sized to fit a standard water glass or either 1/2 liter or 3/4 liter plastic water bottle. With the water bottles, cut the top off, put in the flowers and fill it with water. The advantage with this is that you can simply throw out the bottle when finished.
