This is something that is quite singular.. This bowl is turned from a single piece of pecan. The grain pattern is definitely different. The bowl is coated with 4 coats of food safe finish so it may be used as a serving dish. To clean, simply hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Use of wooden or plastic utensils is highly recommended. The polyurethane finish does not need application of addition finish as with natural oil finishes. The bowl is not recommended for extended refrigerated storage, is not microwavable and is not dishwasher safe. A beautiful gift for any occasion.
