This apple bowl is a different design than I normally do. If you look closely at the area between the bowl and the rim, you will see that portion is textured. While the entire bowl is finished with four coats of polyurethane food safe finish, it is recommended the bowl be used as a display piece or to hold wrapped cany as washing the textured area could be problematic.
