#1782 Black Walnut Bowl
8 1/2” W X 3 3/4” Deep This black walnut bowl is cut from a local Bucks County tree that blew down in a storm in August 2024. The color and grain are distinctive and make it a lovely bowl for both display and use as a serving dish.
The bowl is coated with four coats of polyurethane finish that is food safe. with this finish it is not necessary to apply any finish to it as needed on bowls with natural oil finishes. The polyurethane finish is quite durable but it is highly recommended that either wooden or plastic utensils are used to avoid damage to the finish. The piece is not microwavable or dishwasher safe and should not be used for extended storage. Cleanup consists of hand washing in warm soapy water, rinse dry and put it away.
